2000 Air Nautique starter and solenoid questions

So my 2000 Nautique doesn't want to start. I've placed the battery and I can hear the solenoid click when I press the start button.

I'm guessing I should replace the starter and solenoid both as I don't want to get stranded out on the lake. Will any standard solenoid work? Or does it have to be some marine grade solenoid? Same question for the starter? Can I just use any starter that's set up for a 2000 era 302-351?

It is very likely to be the starter relay. Those are common symptoms when that relay fails.

And should be marine grade as others can spark leading to explosion hazard

Thanks everyone for the advice - the solenoid fixed my problem. Now I just have to figure out why its running rough. Thanks again!
