    2019 GS22 Pro Ballast Question

Hello, first time post here. Have grown up with and had Nautiques all my life and recently upgraded to a 2019 GS22. The boat came with the Pro ballasts in rear lockers installed. My question is if anyone has installed a ball valve in front of the sacs for times when you may not want the locker ballasts to fill? I seems like there would be room to place an inline ball valve on the engine bay side right before hose barb connection in the partition wall. Being relatively new to the Linc / ballast system, what issues would this cause if any?

Not sure why you would need a ball valve? The Pro ballast is an additional tank in the system it fills the primar hard tank first and then fills the pro bags if you don’t want the bags filled just stop the pump when the hard tank is full 65 -70% and the pro ballast is still empty.

If you look on Wake Makers site it has a good video explaining the additional ballast system

Thanks, I am new to the whole ballast game. I wasn't sure if the primary tank and the bags filled evenly, but thinking about the way the bags are tied to the fill line, what you are saying makes sense. I appreciate the feedback.
