    2014 SN 200 Gauge Question

Good day - our 2014 SN 200 club boat needles on the oil pressure and temp gauge are kind of off their center mount pin. They sit on the pin at an angle so do not give proper reading. Are these pointers accessable and repairable? This is the left cluster with oil/temp/rpm gauges.
    Thanks

I've seen people open their gauge, then remove the needle to repaint the needles tips due to fading so I would say you could do something similar. That said these gauges were not made to be serviced, in doing so you may damage the gauge more than fix it. My tach was sticking and considered pulling it apart until I looked it over and decided the juice wasn't worth the squeeze for me and decided to just replace the entire gauge. Not cheap BTW and that was before Covid.

If you search on YouTube there's tons of videos of people fixing sealed gauges successfully. That said I would personally do it only if I were okay with replacing the entire gauge as a plan B should your efforts result in an, less than ideal outcome.

Pictures would help a lot to fully understand the issue.
