2020 G23 Power Tower Intermittent Function

    Hi Everyone,
    I have a new to me 2020 G23 with 190hrs.

When I did the walk through at the dealer the power/actuated tower (not telescoping) did go down and up, but then after trailering it home (roughly 450 miles; tower in up position) I went to put the tower down to place it into storage and the tower would not drop. I looked at any power connections I could find to check connections (mostly wiring near the batteries), but nothing looked obviously disconnected. After this, however, I went to lower it again and it dropped. However, it is now stuck in the down position as it would not go back up and I'm unsure what fix I might have temporized to make this happen.

    Observations:
-Tower is unlocked prior to attempting to lower, nothing seems to be physically obstructing it
-Up and down button lights illuminate when the power button is pressed
-No tower motor noises can be heard while trying to raise or lower the tower (pressing the buttons)
-Batteries in boat are both brand new.
-Tower circuit breaker is not popped.
-I've done a power cycle of boat (turned off/on main breaker, with 15-30 sec rest in off) gives me the same outcome (no noise/movement).
-Does not seem like there is a location for tower circuit faults on the Linc screen.

Anyone have any troubles with these towers? Any suggestions? Perhaps someone might have a wiring diagram so I can follow some connections. I've read in a different thread re same topic that running the boat fixed this? I haven't had a chance to take it on the water yet, so perhaps. But I'm little reluctant to try with a downed tower haha.

Thanks in advance for anyone's time!

Had this happen on my ‘19 G23, same tower design as your ‘20.
Noticed this intermittently before it finally stuck for more than a few days at a time.
Luckilly, I was still under warranty and had the dealer replace both tower actuators.

If you’d like some targeted troubleshooting: You could check for voltage at the actuators (1 on each side) when button pushing sequence is initiated to ensure they get power on command. Additionally, you could check for resistance across the motor - unfortunately dont know what is considered “good” here.

Otherwise - An afterthought i had, in the event of future failures is to see if possible to disengage the actuators and lower or raise the tower manually. When fully raised, the locks can keep it in place. When fully lowered, id suggest some sort of brace or standoff to ensure no damage occurs from the tower bouncing around in the bottom position
