    shaft seal

Anybody use the OJ XPC dripless shaft seal? How are they? Are they easy to install? Will it work on a 99 pro air?

Absolutely worth! no worry about loose or tight,no leak, keep bilge dry, My 01 came with OJ shaft seal,I changed jonhon last winter (DIM supply),the OJ I found lost the 'seal' so water leak quit lot,I think the mechanic lost it when they change the prop shaft,so my bilge pumps water peroidicly, I order OJ but no stock so I get Johnson, it cheaper ,looks not so strong but so far so good, bilge pump runs rare now, prop shaft more freely, installation not difficult, (if you can remove and put back the prop shaft,) but make sure you have enough room (7-8 inch)for it.

Thanks. I guess this might not be the right place to post this type of article. Sounds good about the OJ seal. I'll probably give one a shot.
