    Dripless Shaft Seals

I am considering installing a dripless shaft seal on my 2001 SAN. Anyone have input on what brand to use? DIM carries OJ and PSS so I am wondering if one is better than the other.

Also, while I am doing this change, does it make sense to change the strut bushings at the same time? Any thoughts on whether to stick with rubber cutlass bushings or try OJs XPC VESCONITE bushings?

    RE: Dripless Shaft Seals

if the strut bushings aren't bad, then there is no reason to replace them

How can I tell if the strut bushings are worn?

if there is any "port-starboard play" in the shaft then they need replacing, but if it got a nice tight fit and spins freely, then u will be just fine. i've still got the original bushings in my 86 so.......
