ballast tank gauge not working

I have a 01 SAN. One of the ballast (port side) gauge does not move at all. My local dealer has been to busy to get to it...
Could this be something other than the gauge itself and if so, how do I check it?

It would either be the gauge or the sender. The only way I could think that you could check is to use a voltometer, but outside of that I can't tell you what settings to use to measure...sorry. But hopefully someone will be able to guide you much better than that.

All of the ballast gauge in the SAN's were teleflex weren't they - so they would be the standard 12v 240-33ohm gauges/senders?
