Can somebody please tell me the firing order for the gt-40 and also which is no 1 on the distributor cap, i sent mine away to get a set of leads made up and they unplugged all my leads and now im stuck.
Any position can be used for cylinder #1 on the distributor cap, so long as the rotor is timed correctly with the position of the motor.
That being said, the stock position of cyl #1 on my 351w was consistent with this diagram. The firing order is correct for any standard rotation (LH) 351w motor, which means all 89+ 351w's with the 1.23 transmission.
