    Oil Pressure Gauge

The oil Pressure gauge on my 97 SN 196 was not working for the last few weeks of last summer, I was told that all that needed to be replaced as a fuse or a switch of some sort, not the enitre gauge, does anyone know what this part might be?

    Thanks,

    RE: Oil Pressure Gauge

as my knowledge, the guage negetive connects via oil pressure sensor to ground (engine block) while another terminal connect to +12V via switch.either side disconnect will result on no guage funtion.

To see if its the sensor or guage remove the wire from the sensor and ground it to the block as Richard says that should move the guage If it does replace the sensor. I beleive the sensor is only about $8 anyway.
