Help on installation of disk brakes

    Hi All,

I have installed new kodiak disk brakes on my single axle ramlin trailer and the brake pad on the fixed side of the caliper isn't flush with the rotor? its on angle such that at the top its in contact but slightly angles away as you go inward to the center of the rotor.

Will this true itself up after a few hard stops? I can't see anyway of adjusting them to correct it? I took it for a slow spin around the block with a bunch of stops to try and properly seat them - but they are still off?

    Any help would be appreciated.

It will "eventually true itself". What about the roll out of the pad? I would contact kodiak and ask them what to do.

ffmedic74, what do you mean by the "rollout of the pad"?

All set - I took her out again and put it through some hard stops and has pulled the pads in flush against the rotors. Man those rotors get hot after doing series of hard stops...
