Has anyone removed their side panel with the shifter on it in a 2000 era Nautique. I see screws on the back under the bolster and front under the dash. Where are the rest?

RE: 2000SN Removing the drivers side panel with shifter
Rick,
Are you referring to the whole arm pad pod or just the panel that is behind the shifter? You'll have to take off the small panel behind the shifter lever anyway. That requires removing the screws and then removing the shifter knob. The lever will have a phillips on the push button and then on the underside is a small allen that has to be removed to pull the lever off. The arm pad has some 7/16" nuts on the underside which are not easy to get to. You will have to find them all from the underside before you can remove the pod.

Rick,
After the shifter panel, (if memory serves me) you will have to remove the dash pod because it overlaps. Then you'll have to reach up from the bottom to find the nuts that hold the pod down. You might be able to access on or two from the cup holder. They're a bear to get to.
