OK....replaced the small hose inside the FCC....local auto parts store hooked me up with some fuel line and hose clamps (fuel injected ones)...swapped it out, removed the LPP and cleaned it out with carb cleaner....put it all back together....and fired it up......
STILL DIES!!!!!!!!
Went through the service manual (yet again)...and looked up information on the TPS (throttle position sensor), tested voltage at the signal return line and no matter how much I moved the throttle (key on engine off)...it was showing zero voltage the whole time(basically telling the boat that the throttle was always closed and I'm guessing that it stayed in warm up mode the entire time). Swapped out the part, turned the key....boat fired right up!
Water testing it tomorrow...but I think I'll be just fine
