My last post was way too vague, so I'm starting anew. But I am just curious if I can get some feedback on the setup of this new 140amp Alternator.
From the diagram, and a few other posts on here (Hydrofoilmaniac's post and a few others) I came up with this diagram, any suggestions/comments? From the factory they labeled the Green wire as the 'tachometer' (just in case I decided to use this alternator in another application), but I plan on not even installing the green wire when the new alternator goes in.
So basically, I will only be using the Red post (going to the + terminal on the battery), the red wire (which is the battery sense, looped back to the red post), and the black wire (connected to the ignition). Does any of this look correct? Or am I way off?
