Convert Excalibur to serpentine belt system

Has anybody converted their pre-04' Excalibur from standard belt to a serpentine system? I know the difference between the 03 and 04 in terms of configuration is the raw water pump relocation so, there isn't any direct replacement parts for a conversion.
Just looking at what it would entail.

    Thanks,

    Chris

+1 That would be really nice not to mess with multiple belts and the pain it takes to tension them.

Not to mention that serpentine is much stronger, less likely to slip, easier to replace, and you only have to carry a single belt.

It would be an expensive replacement. Some parts will be PCM exclusive. But I would look at one and then look at a GM truck, some will be the same, so you could get them at a car parts dealer. Probably the most expensive parts will be the mounts for the raw water pump and the alternator. The pulleys will be cheap, the tensioner is the most likely to be straight out of a truck. The belt will probably be shorter (you add a raw water pump, but you have no power steering pump, no air conditioner compressor and no fan clutch), so finding the right size will be more tricky, but not impossible. I just carry a spare belt that will power both water pumps, with two batteries, if I don't use the radio, I can wakeboard for hours if I lose alternator charging, the EFI and ignition don't use much power. So, I would not mess with it, but that's just lazy me...

I was just thinking about this also and wrote to pcm. Here's their response

We do not offer a kit for this however it could be done. You would need to replace your raw-water pump, raw-water pump hoses, all pulleys, alternator bracket, add a belt tensioner and bracket (+ all the necessary hardware) at the very least. You can view our 2002-2005 parts manual online to reference all of the parts that you would need.
