Will a Ram-lin single axle trailer fit my 1998 sport nautique 22ft? The person that is selling this trailer has a 1996 super sport. the pad on the trailer is adjustable from 16 to 21.

RE: Trailers
One other thought. The axle may not be optimally aligned. For the V Drives, the axle is generally more toward the rear of the trailer. For a Direct Drive, the axle is usually centered under the motor. If you put a direct drive on a V-Drive trailer, you may have
a bit more tongue weight than optimal. Depending upon the tow vehicle you use, and how much you trailer, may not be a problem at all. BKH2001 Super Air

RE: Trailers
I 2nd what Brian said, look at the trailer. I have a S.S. and our wheels are located further back on the trailer then would be the direct drive. You might want to go hit your local boat shop and check out the trailers, see how the wheels are set up. I would imagine it'd also depend on how far you tow, what the roads are like etc.

RE: Trailers
When searching for a used 211 I found one on a single axle trailer, I also found a tandem from a 216. When I called DHM he said it was not worth it, the bunks and axle location were too different. Using a DD trailer on a VD will definately require you to move the wheel carrier section about a foot. Your best bet would be to call the trailer manufacturer.

Definitely kick an email off to Ram-Lin with your question. I've contacted them a few times with questions and they've been quick to respond, once contacting me via phone.
