    perfect pass shuts off

When I am driving my boat using pefect pass and I honk the horn the perfect pass shuts off, I thought about running bigger wires up to the dash. Do you think I should even worry about it?

    RE: perfect pass shuts off

Perfect Pass requires a lot of current to run the servo motor. Most Perfect Pass systems are wired with too small of a gauge of wire that is to long to get the required voltage to the computer when the servo motor is operating. The computer then just shuts down. Make sure the ground wire is a big enough one, also.

If you monitor your voltage when it happens you'll see that your voltage to the dash is low. CC used too small a guage of wire to supply voltage to the circuit box under the dash.
The fix is to run another pos. and neg. wire up from the battery to the circuit box.

I to have the same problem with my PP. Does anyone out there know what size wire to run and where should the wire originate so it is protected by some kind of fuse?
