will fatsacks effect the life of my boat?

my dad and i were argueing about if buying a fat would be a good idea. i think it would because it would increase the size of my boats wake allowing me to get more air on my tricks. he says it will put to much strain on the engine and will shorten the boats life. if any nautique specalist reads this post please reply with your advice.

    thanks

I dont think that it would hurt your floor if you think in terms of moderation and even distribution. How could it be much worse then having 3-5 200lb people in the the boat?

No way would I ever add 3000lbs like some boats I have seen.

If you can pull off tricks with less then ideal wakes then it forces you to work on form, and makes you better. Look at some of the tricks the pro's can do behind a pwc.
