While riding yesterday the smart pod on my boat lost all power while the engine was running (no button on the smart pod was working, not even the stop button). We drove back to the dock and flipped the main circuit switch off to "all off" then back to "all on" and everything worked fine again. Then the same thing happened a couple more times throughout the afternoon, we flipped the main switch off then on and it worked again.
What would cause this type of problem? Should I replace the fuse for the smart pod? But then again, if the fuse blew, why would everything work again after we hit the main kill switch? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
