Help with shower install

Hello, I am installing a Aquetec shower in my 97 nautique and was trying to figure out where the best spots are for mounting the pump and the valve assembly. Any suggestions or pictures of anyone elses install or location would be very much appreciated. Thanks

I have a factory shower system in my 2001 AN and they mounted the pump on the port side of the engine bay on a metal bracket. I will take pictures this weekend if you like. The valve controls were mounted under the port side gunnel, dead amidships (see photo). I am not a big fan of the valve location but because my trunk opens forward (instead of gullwing), having the valve controls in the trunk locker wouldn't be ideal either. Good luck.

Not sure if you have a v-drive or d-drive, but here are the pics from my SAN. I guess the mounting for the pump could be very similar. The control knobs are in the back under the port rear pad. Kind of hard to get to. It would be nice if they were easier to get to and had some type of fitting that you could just plug in that looked nice. Then again....I don't think I ever used mine last year. I guess if I would of had the boat done earlier this year I might of needed it.

Oh well....I guess the only use it might get is to get some girls to reenact some type of porno orgy fantasy that I have on my back swim deck! I guess I need to get one of those rain type shower heads for that.

Thanks for the tips, I think I have a spot picked out for the valves and pump. The ice just came off the lake today so I plan on using the shower until the water warms up.

I like the idea of the orgy, I will run it by some of the girls that come out skiing, My guess is that it will just be a fantasy to me too :grin:
