Where to mount a fire extinguisher 04 SV211TE

All,

I Live in Texas where a fire extinguisher is required. I would like this mounted and in a convenient place. Any suggestions on where to mount? Also, I need guidance if I am to drill into the fiberglass.

ours is mounted on the kick board where its out of the way but readily available.

I have a 1997 ski. My fire extinguisher is mounted horizontally on the drivers seat base, on the starboard side, below the throttle handle. I can put the throttle in neutral, drop my hand down, flip the tap on the band that goes around the extinguisher, and grab the extinguisher.

Mine is on the inside of the driver's footwell near my left knee (dealer installed). I like Daniel's setup better, I would put it on the floor to the right of the driver's seat base if it was not already mounted.

Run the drill in reverse.

Take an automatic, FirePro, USCG approved. Mounts in the engine compartment near the rudder. Status LED on the dash.
