    Dees,

I see your from Nampa, ID. I live in Meridian and went to the NAPA in Meridian. They actually got the core from the Nampa store where you live.

    Small world..

I run mine in salt and the heater core goes every year... Just a cost of having fun i guess.

Dyoungman1, yep that's the one I got. Fits great in the box, now just got to take the time to put it back in.

I try and stay away from Lucky at all cost, unless is early in the morning. Were gonna head up to spring shores on Tuesday around 5, hope it's not to busy.

                Dees,

Spring Shores? isn't that Lucky Peak? Are you saying you just don't go there on weekends becasue of the crowd? If not, Where do you normally go on the weekends? I have only had my boat for a few months and didn't know if the drive to Arrow Rock is worth it?

Put some shut off valves in line so that salt water won't be going through the core all the time. When you know for sure your going to use the heater, just open the in line valve's to get the water going through the core......it might make your core last a few years :?:

Yeah it's just above Lucky. It's where the marina is. If you put in at Lucky you can drive upstream to get to it. We mostly ride under the bridge

Arrow rock is nice but I hate the drive on the dirt road. We haven't taken our boat to Arrow Rock this year. When it starts to get low theres shelfs everywhere and there a great prop killer. You have to know the Arms so you don't damage anything.

We usually will go early morning or late to get a couple set in> The people who trash the water are usally there around 11-7 so we go before or after those times.

                      Core

Perfect timing. My buddies 01 Air Started leaking on the last trip. I installed shut off valves in my 90 Sport but the 01 did not have them as it came from the factory. I had to cut the hot water supply line and connect it to the return side. Quick fix if you are away from home and don't want to take the boat out of the water. I will be going to NAPA soon!

                          Twenty 11 thanks

Wonderful thing to have ( Thanks HAT & AIR ) a 2007 thread of posts solve my 2011 issue finding a quick heater core 300 3 vent replacement for the one I blew up this Winter thanks to slack on my part Winterization efforts.

Appreciate the 4 year ago help!

Resurrecting an old thread, rather than starting a new one.

Took the heater core out of my 2000 SAN at the beginning of the season due to it leaking. Just left it out and connected the hoses together.

Now i I got a new core from Napa and have it fitted in the box and am going to install it back behind the kick panel. But I cannot remember how it was oriented in there.

So what I need to know is if it even matters how it is oriented? Inlet/outlet on top or bottom? long ways vertically or horizontally?

There are contradicting marks in the carpet from what looks like someone having it previously installed two different ways.

Appreiciate the replies in advance. Might be over thinking it. And it won't matter how it goes in there.

Where is the heater core in an 2008 AirNautique 211? I think mine might be leaking/cracked as there is moisture in my heater tubes and my bilge runs more often than usual.

I think it's in that compartment behind the driver's seat in that boat.
