    Key Pad Electricity/Gauge Electricity Problem--04 210

Hey guys, so here is the problem. My boat is an 04 210 so anybody familiar with problems regarding the electronics not working to the key pad and gauges, this is for you. I just got home for the summer, went to turn on the boat...and there was ZERO electricity when i flipped the starter switch up. When I flipped it down, which is what keeps the auto bilge on, it turned on the bilge, but just incase I put a full charge and even replaced one of the batteries to make sure it wasnt that. After putting in the new battery, still zero power, no lights, no horn, no power to the stereo. I called up Southeast Correct Craft and they were pretty sure it was an electrical problem with the keypad (duh). I checked all of the fuses, and none of them were blown, maybe i'll check again. The problem is is that I am in Tampa and the ramp is to low to get the boat out to take to orlando so I have to wait till next friday before they will even come to look at it. Does anyone have any tips at fixing it. One of my friends was a mechanic on malibu's and mastercrafts so with any basic instruction, he will most likely be able to fix it, but he is not familiar with all of the electronics of the nautique. Someone pleeeeeeeeease help, I can't wait 2 weeks to ride staring at glass every morning with 85 degree water!!!

    RE: Key Pad Electricity/Gauge Electricity Problem--04 210

I have a 2000 Air and my entire panel went out a few years ago. I had to replace the control box or whatever it was...$400. I believe it was a black box under the dash, but I don't know if you'll have the same thing.

I'm now having problems with some of the control panel lights...the ones that operate the ballast and a few other things. I've checked the connections and all that, but I have a feeling there is an underlying problem with that entire system. I love the look and function, but I think the more electronics you have, the more issues.

      Hi.
Do you have power on the keypad?
When you press the numbers to enter your starting code, does the right led under start flashes? If not you will never get power to start the engine. Check the connection between batteries and dash.
Did you checked the main fuses near the batterie?
Did you checked the breacker box?
Do you have power in the breacker box?
Did you checked the fuses and reles in the engine?
Give me more information and i will see if i can help you.
      Good luck!

There are no lights going to the keypad nor any electricity going to the stereo, horn, ballast etc...
I put in two brand new batteries and it still has nothing, so it is not electricity related.
The key pad does not light up when you go to type in the numbers, everything involved with the dash or any electrical issue that involves flipping the starter switch from the auto bilge to off to on gets no electricity. I am going to check the fuses next to the batteries, the only thing I knew to check was the set of about 10 switches underneath the dash, but I did not no what to do with them. I checked all of the wires and everything seemed legit but I really know nothing about wiring so it is hard to say.....

            Hi again.
Start by remove the panel in front of the knees of the driver and check witha a test lamp if you have 12V between + and - (large diameter cables).
If you have, your problem is between the breaker box and the keypad.
If yoiu have not, your problem is between the baterie and the breaker box.
About the switches in the breaker box, they should be all in. Pull them in, one by one and make sure that they don't jump off. If they jump off you have a short circuit in that system.
            Good luck!

              Samething

I just bought a 04 210 this past weekend. When we went for the test drive we had the same problem. They put in a new keypad and all and still nothing. After all that they said it had something to do with the tower lights as the boat has 7 55w lights and for some reason the lights were on "I think relay problem" this not allowing the cpu to get enough juice to do anything. I hope this was true and I don't have to look forward to this happening agian. As for the big 400 dollar part I know they put the old key pad back in and it ran fine. Good luck

                Key Pad Issue

THe information requested above is really a need to determine the next course of action. I have a 04 SAN and one thing that gave me issues was the two relays (fuel relay and something else) they are actually bundeled in three just around the fuel cleaner/pump area - another way to look at it is take off the red plastic cover - there are three black boxes. Sometimes it was just dead because the relay was bad. replaced it and things are good. Sop you know. there are fuses (inline) back where the batteries are, then up under the gunnels where the rear side lockers are. I also found one up under the center gunnel that runs the back seat.

                Good luck.
