    Idiling @ high RPM

My 05 Ski 206 starting to idle a bit high this weekend, @1050RPM. I know nothing @ fuel injected engines. How do I adjust the idle?

    Tony

ps. I only have 67hrs on the boat and just had it serviced in March.

      RE: Idiling @ high RPM

I have had some issues with my 05' 206 w/Excal, if you have perfect pass try removing the shroud, or whatever it is called, over the flame arrester. The issue we have had is the throttle cable slightly touches the shroud enough to cause idle problems. We have had in the dealer once and it is still a problem so just removed the shroud again until we can get it back in. Did try to shim the back screws however this did not work.

Here's a link to the thread with a picture of the cable relief slot I put in the shroud on mine.

Thanks for the info, I'll check the shroud and modify if necessary!
