I've noticed a couple of strange things lately that may or may not be related on my 99 air nautique with 351 carb.
#1 This year and a bit last year I've noticed much more of the harsh white smoke/exhaust than usual. On first startup of the day, its pretty thick until the engine warms up. (pretty bad if your sitting in the back) Then less so on later startups, but a still little thick when running throughout the day. Normal? Problem?
#2 Occasionally(about 3-4 times/year) when accelerating from idle to get on plane, the engine will stall out at about 15-20mph and drop to an idle speed I then pull the throttle back to the idle position, let it run for about 5 minutes and then it runs normall the rest of the day.
Any thoughts?
