Any Special cleaner for Windows + Mirror for 2007 Nautiques?

I purchased a 2007 216 TE at the end of March. Now that I've gone through pollen season, etc., my windows are in need of getting cleaned.

My dealer gave me special instructions on how to clean the vinyl & carpet. From past knowledge, I know that regular household glass cleaners like Windex shouldn't be used on some types of glass.

Are regular household glass cleaners like Windex safe for my boat, or is Windex off-limits similar to 409? If Windex is off-limits, what do you clean your windows with?

Cyclo glass cleaner is a great product. You can use it on glass, chrome, aluminum, and all kinds surfaces. It is easy to use just spray on and wipe until dry, no streaks!

MichaelD, Ask your dealer, they seem helpful so far. In my opinion, Windex is ok on the glass, but do not allow it on any decals on the gelcoat. The ammonia in the Windex is not compatible with the glue on the decals. For hard to remove water spots, I use a product called A-Maze. it is a very fine polish for glass, and works fairly well, but it needs lots of "elbow grease".
I find keeping a small hand towel handy, and wipeing off water the windshield as soon as it gets wet goes a long way to keeping water spots from starting in the first place. Do not wash boat towels with fabric softener, it actually makes the towels less water absorbant, and then the water is just smeared around instead of being absorbed by the towel.
