Some one with a Super Air Look at their MOTOR FOR ME. ASAP.

I just got the motor for my 2000 Super Air back from the Machine shop. I am putting it all back together. Well I cant remember what direction the Raw water pump goes. Can someone with a Super Air or a Super SPort V DRIVE. Look at their Raw water pump and tell me if the Screw on the side of the housing that holds that compression plate inside goes toward the motor or away from the motor. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

on my 97 super sport with the gt40 the screw goes to the engine. Try that on yours and start it for a second to make sure it is pumping.

If I memory correct, the raw pump on my 01 SAN installed cam screw face outside, first I put mistake since I don't take care mark down the direction, since the pump for my SAN is not natural (comfort) direction, when put backl, I think I should put it naturally (comfort)way,(but this is mistake),try both direction, you will understand what natural(comfort) mean, what will happen when mistake direction?,when I test to water,I notice water jet out from engine flush inlet, and engine overheat soon, take care these two points when first to water.

You are correct... i dont know why I didnt think about it.. but I pulled the pump out..stuck one end in the sink with water and turned it clockwise by hand...well one end sucked up water..and the other blew bubbles... so I came up with the same as you.. on the vdrive... the screw goes toward the motor..THANKS again!!
