    Iritating Temp Guage

Ok, so my 92 has that annoying tendency to have the temp guage fluctuate with the voltage of the boat. I understand that the solution is to ground the guage better. I am a bit of an electrical idiot. I tried searching the forumns looking for a really good description on how to do this, or better yet some pictures. I did not find any. Can someone help me? Knocking on the guage when it pegs is getting old!

    TIA

    RE: Iritating Temp Guage

Improving the ground on the gauge is fairly easy. You need to run a goog gauge wire from the ground tab/point on the back of the gauge to any suitable solid ground source. Best choices are engine block and negative battery terminal. If you have a grounded terminal block around the drivers side area, that would be an easier wiring run then going to the engine or battery.

CCfan website might have a wiring diagram that would be helpful in finding a good tap point. PM me if you need more help than that and I will go look at/for a wiring diagram and get more specific.
