ZR6 Closed cooling, do i need to flush it?

I operate in semi- brackish water and was wondering do i need to flush the engine to get the raw water out of the manifolds? Or it I just start it up for a brief second will it flush it? Thats guys!

You should probably flush it. The manifolds are usually the first things to go in salt water anyway. Luckily you don't have to worry about the engine itself since you have the closed cooling system.

Definatly flush it, as above the manifolds still take lake/river/ocean water so the need the salt washed out.

I had a transom flush installed on my VLX will this Zr6 be the same way to install?
