    Automatic Bilge

I am a new owner of a 1996 Super Sport and I have left it at the dock on our lake. I left the automatic bilge button on the assy panel clicked on (but the ignition off). Is this how to activate the auto bilge?

Secondly, how much water in the boat is normal. A ran the manual bilge on the first night and in the morning it ran for about 2 mins. This was the first day I had the boat in the water, and the previous owner never kept it in the water. I know that the drive shaft seal requires some expansion, but I am not sure what is to be expected. I have to leave all week, and can't really check on it.

Boat has 400 hours, everything seems to work fine. I am sure that this has been covered before, and I did look for the answer. Sorry if this is a repost.

    Thank you very much

    RE: Automatic Bilge

The bilge won't work if the ignition breaker is off, at least mine won't. If you leave the ignition breaker on with the automatic bilge you should be OK, as long as you have a good battery. Seems like you had a lot of water in the bilge from just one night. You should check your drive shaft seal, it should only drip every few seconds.
