Teleflex Premier gauge replacement

I know there has been a lot of discussion on the crummy digital Teleflex gauges CC put in their boats for a while. I have a 2000 SAN and just replaced the gauges with the last set of digital gauges my dealer has. They failed right out of the box. Joe at Teleflex recommended their Premier gauges as nearly drop in replacements.

Everyone seems to jump to the Faria gauges but I won't have to cut a hole in my boat if I use the Premiers because they will work with the existing pitot tubes. The RPM gauge should just drop right in. Has anyone used the Premiers? Any comments would be appreciated.

With those going all the way up to 65 MPH, you lose quite a bit of the detail in lower speeds.

Thanks for the quick reply. Teleflex has a 5-50 MPH speedo, it just has to be special ordered.

Teleflex gauge finally out

did you ever get the premier gauges installed? If so, how hard was it. My 2001 SANTE gauges just started acting up last week - the display is only show part of the digital number on the speedo. The local dealer can pop in the Faria gauges for about $420 installed, but I don't want to lose the engine hrs on the RPM (around 520 hours now). Any help or recommendations from anyone would be appreciated. I don't have Perfect Pass, so it is my understanding I have to drill a hole thru the hull to install a paddle wheel for the Faria setup (I'd rather avoid that if I could).
