I need some upholstery for my '85 2001, help please

    Hello,
I have a 1985 2001 s/n grey on grey with 472 hrs. She's in great shape but I'd like to replace the seats or have it re-upholstered. I havent been able to find any after market seats. Any help is appreciated.

Midwest Correct Craft, Southeast Correct Craft, and White Lake Marine have upholstery shops that can reproduce the original CC skins. Both SECC and White Lake use Christine's, located in FL. She made my interior and it came out terrific. Not cheap, but she used the original foam-backed vinyl and UV resistant thread. All the original stitching and embroidery are top notch.

Expect to pay somewhere in the $2500 range for a full set of original vinyl, plus ~$1k for install if you have the delux interior. If you have the basic interior, the vinyl should only be ~$1k. Probably not a bad idea to replace the seat bases while you have it apart- the ones in my '90 were rotten in some places.

Go to Correccraftfan.com. There is an add for a company that makes replacement "skins" for most models of Correct Craft boats. They just sent me a quote last week that was very reasonable. I think their address is nautiqueskins@aol.com. Double check just to make sure. I haven't purchased anything from them yet, but they say that their products are top notch. Has anyone on Planetnautique bought any skins from them?

The lady on correctcraftfans website is Christine. She worked for correct craft for a long time. she just did my buddies 86 2001 and it came out awesome. she has all the original patterns and colors. even the stitching is like factory. Highly recommended!

Thanks for the info, I've got the delux so I'll have to go the extra $. If I purchase the skins can a local upholster company install them?

let your local uphoster do it. They can duplicate what you have. Or chage it any way you like. I bet it will be a heck of alot less than coreect craft too! Shop multiple shops around your town
