RE: New TEAK platforms
Hey MHayes, I'm looking to make the same for my 210. I live nearby. Interested in getting together and making 2?
I have a table saw and access to some other tools. Let me know.

RE: New TEAK platforms
DWhitt, do you know any places around ATL to get some teak? I was also thinking about make one out or Corian. Here's a few pics of some that I have seen, including the Corian one. I'd like to make one a little taller than these though.2001 Air Nautique

RE: New TEAK platforms
Mhayes, the second pic you have is/was on my 02 SA. I believe they were basically two sheets of corian glued together so they were about 1" thick then chamferred and routed to fit the deck. I buddy of mine was in the counter top business at the time and made those for me for free. I can see the reasoning behind wanting to make them bigger from looking at the pics but they worked great at the size they were. I did not have one ding on the back of my boat from a board. Although for beginners I usually went to the transom and stepped on their board just to make sure they didn't ding things up. I am rather anal about stuff like that.
Here is another couple pics of the profile. He actually just made templates out of cardboard to make the transom guards and the next time I went to see him we installed them.
