    Can this BE fixed ??

So I find this really nice condition '83 SN that looks mint other than .... what can only be discribed as "HIDIOUS" home made looking tower. This thing looks like it wouldn't even get you decent cable reception and RUINS the look of an otherwise beautiful craft.

If I were to purchase such a craft and remove the nasty looking tower can the holes be filed and still look stock ??

THEN, If I wanted to add an FCT later on does adding holes for that tower weaken the location of the tower mounts ??

**** some peoples' kids sure know how to f*ck up a beautiful boat.

    Tower

Hey tourpro I don't know if this will help you but I have a 1999 Pro Air Nautuique that has a 2001 FCT. The old tower was removed. The base of the old tower was smaller so the mount holes did not match up with the previous mount holes. The holes were filled with round head bolts that are not really bad looking. The new tower was able to use two mount holes on each side on the bow. It may not hold to a stock look but I'm sure a good fiberglass guy could fix the holes and gel coat for a price. Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!

There little to worry about. If at all u are worried about new holes being near old holes, a properly sized backing plate underneath shd get the job done.

Yep, and the fibreglass can be fixed. Don't worry to much about it.
