I have 2 batteries in my 2001 SAN and they are both on the starboard side in front of the ballast tank. Because of prop rotation my boat naturally leans to the starboard side and with the 2 battreries it is even worse. I can't even get a good wake with only the driver in the boat. I have to empty the starboard ballast. Anyone have a different location for their batteries. I was thinking under the front seats.

RE: Where are your batteries?
In my 02 I had the main Battery underneath the port side rear passenger seat. I had two more installed for the stereo under the passenger clamshell seat. I had a leadheadz brick behind the drivers side console and one behind the drivers seat which I could move around. Since leadheads is out of business I would look into Pop Products bags and use those to even out the boat and tweak the wake. A little extra weight never hurt anything beside gas mileage

In my 2001 SAN, my rear side seats flip up and there doesn't look like the area is deep enough to store a battery. Is there a cutout in the floor to lower the battery in the boat?
-Superair- I do run ballast when riding but this week I was out joyriding with the wife and became annoyed that the starboard side of the boat was riding so much lower because of prop rotation, batteries and driver weight. I should have had her drive and I would have been fine but now I am annoyed. Maybe no more scenic drives for the boat!
Can someone send me pics of their battery under the rear seat?2016 SAN 210

Yeah the floor had a space cutout for the battery to sit within the space. You could possibly move the batteries under the clamshell seat put running the wires to them might be a pain in the azz.
I would still suggest a few lead brick or POP Bags to move around while crusing/sight seeing with the wife. Like your wife.....when I am cruising it annoys me if the boat is not riding level. I usually have someone move to a new spot or move the lead brick to level out the boat.
Sorry I don't have a pic of the battery box that was under the back seat but here are the two that I had installed for the stereo system under the clamshell passenger seat. They were fastened to the floor using straps so they did not bounce around.
