    Light ON?

I have a 1999 Super Air. The light is flickering, when I am over 1200 rpms. It will do it for a miniute then stop. When I put it back in Neutral the light comes back on (like normal). Then when I get over 1200 rpms it will flicker then stop, sometimes it doesnt flicker and wont come on at all over 1200 rpm which is good. The v drive oil is full so not sure why it is doing this. Hope I explained this well enough.

      Light On

By your description, the red light is the oil pressure sensor of the vdrive,if oil pressure low or RPM under 1200,If will light up,I had experience the red light blinking when above 1200, figure out low oil level of the vdrive, your oil level ok may be promblem from the sensor switch or connector bad contact.

Check the oil level in the transmission when it's hot. The engine and V-drive should be checked when cold. If the level is good, check the wiring and/or the sensor.

          Brit,
I have the same problem on mine sometimes. I notice it only happens when there is alot of condensation and moisture in the bilge. It usually turns off as the day goes on. When the boat is fairly dry it works as normal.

Thanks guys. I was checking the trans and it was good. V drive was a little low. Does this mean that I have a leak?? I havent seen anything in the bottom of the boat?
