Need a new clutch for my '95 Ski Nautique- Is there anyplace

better to buy it than the Correct Craft Dealer?

I don't really know much about boat parts, do the dealers mark parts way up like Car dealers do? Thanks

Am I missing something. There is no clutch in a skiboat. The transmission is connected to the engine by a dampner plate. Is that what is broken? If not you may be looking for a tranny rebuild.

there are internal foward and reverse "clutches" inside the tranny (not like ur typical automobile clutch)

Yeah, what Andrew said. Some people also call it the "Fwd Clutch Pack", at least that's what the shop called it when they checked out the boat.

forward gear will go out with low oil pressure check all your seals?

front pumps seals go bad or pump is bad.

Well it was two shops that I talked to, I really only know what they tell me, so they could be screwing me. It slips in Fwd and Reverse, and there is no oil anywhere. When we checked the oil in the water(when the boat was hot) there was no oil, but once we were back on flat pavement on the trailer and the boat was cold, the oil level was perfect.

The boat works great when we first put it in the water, but after a few runs the tranny starts slipping pretty bad. Enough to the point that you can't even take of under any power. You can barely put it into idle and milk it back to the dock, and some times you have to wait a few minutes before you can even get idle to catch.

After we let it sit and get cold, it works fine for about 10 minutes and then starts slipping again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I would verify your oil level first. make sure you do this after the boat was running, as the cooling lines will then be primed. Top it off to the fill line.
If you were running without oil, the clutch pack would have a hard time engaging at all, and you would smell the burned clutch plates. Does the oil in the gear box smell?
