Floor removal on an '03 Ski limited

If i wanted to pull the floor up to gain access to the muffler area, how would I go about doing this?

Also, can this be done such that the gas tank remains in place and the boat can still be run?

I think that I have a leak somewhere in there, and want to take a look.

    Thanks!

Did you buy the boat new? If so, wouldn't the warranty cover that?

You dont need to remove the gas tank. The rear seat base and motorbox need to come out, and then the floor panel can be removed.

Have you looked at the shaft packing through the inspection plate to see if thats where your water is coming from? Both my dad's '03 and friend's '02 are due for packing replacement.

shaft packing is OK. last time I ran the boat water was coming up from underneath the rear seat, port side corner.

The boat was bought new by my brother, and then on to me / my parents. The dealer might be able to squeak it through under warranty...but who knows?
