    Blended Fuels?

I was warned about blended fuels when I purchased my boat. I was also told that marinas will not carry blended fuels, but this weekend I'll be filling up on the road and I would like to be confident that I'm getting the right fuel! How do I know that a gas station uses non blended fuel?

    Any thoughts?

    RE: Blended Fuels?

    Hey,
If you are referring to Winter blended fuels being used in Summer conditions, not to worry, you have a PCM Engine with a Fuel Control Cell (FCC) that is designed to handle such situations.

Not True for other engine companies, they vapor lock.

If you mean Ethanol blended fuels, you can run "E-10" with no problem and it should be labeled on the pump.

    Happy Boating,
    Roy

All the 87 octane in my area is blended with 10% ethanol. If memory serves, I think the 06 330 manual states 10% ethanol is okay to run, but that you should mix with a fuel stabilizer such as stabil - if the manual doesn't state that then I know the dealer advised me to mix with stabil for sure. I just follow the instructions in the stabil and have had no issues.
