How to replace thermostat on 98 Sport Nautique?

My engine runs around 120 degrees. It was suggested that I replace the thermostat as the ideal running temperature is 160 degrees. I bought the thermostat but don't know exactly where it is to go.

Can anyone point me to an engine diagram that will show me? I have a PCM GT-40.

    Thanks for your help,
    Jim

Trace the hose from the top of the Fresh water pump to the top of the engine. There is a dome held down with 2 bolts The thermostat is under that You will need a new gasket( make sure you scrape the old one off without it getting into the engine.) and I like to use blue silicone lightly on both sides of the gasket. Should take about 5 minutes
