    Speedometer filling with water

Recently, I've noticed that when I driving my '94 Sport Nautique that the right speedometer is filling with water and dripping onto my dashboard and on to the floor. Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

    tkonczak--

I had the same thing happening in my BFN. I was told that I had a crack somewhere in the pitot tube line which causes water to move up the line instead of air.

Anyway, I just disconnected that pitot tube and now only use the starboard side speedo...until I get some time to fix the port side tube.

      Joelhern2,
Thanks for the info! I'll check out the pitot tube and see if I notice any cracks.

well now we have too believing they have narrowed down the fix. WRONG

if the line had a hole in it then the water would be squirting out of it and not the gauge as you would still have air trapped between the gauge and where ever the hole in the line is. So believe what you want replace the line replace the pitote and then when you still have the same issues you can cough up the money and replace the gauge like you should have done from the begining.
