    eletronic keypad

    Hi everyone.
I have just bought a 2001 year ski nautique and the electronic keypad is faulty. I am not able to enter the code to start as buttons 3 and 4 will not work.

So does anyone have a method of replacing the pushbuttons with a normal key ignition ?

I also recently bought a 2001 Nautique and had a similar issue with the key pad. I had it in for some service and asked the dealer to change the code for me. He wasn't able to reprogram it because the #4 wouldn't work but somehow my start code was erased. This meant that the boat could be started with no code. I was messing around with it the other day and found that if I took a screwdriver and pressed hard on the number 4, the key would make contact and the green led would come on. This allowed me to enter the master code and set a new personal code. I don't know if this will work for you but it's worth a try.

I have a carbon fiber keypad for your boat if it is indeed faulty. Let me know.

          Thanks everyone

Boattech, rack them grey cells for me, I can probably do the work if a set of instructions can be supplied.

I am in the UK, and the dealer says it cant be done.
