I have looked at every wire possible, ensured the battery is fine, it is in neutral, and power is being delivered to guages & stereo, but it won't start. After I punch in my code and hit start twice, the guages all light up and is ready to start; I hit the start button again to turn the engine, and I hear 1 click from the engine and ALL boat power is lost. I have to re-enter my code and go through the same process as above and same thing happens again. This boat is 5 yrs old, but only has 175 hours and is in GREAT shape. I have been told it is the starter, but it just seems strange.

Pinkerton,
You have probably already checked - but check again - this has happened to me twice before and it has always been the battery. Take it out and charge overnight and try again. Best of luck.

In a low voltage situation, the dash shuts down. I've had this happen and the culprit was the positive battery cable- the clamp connection to the cable itself. Corrosion there caused low voltage and this exact same situation occurred. I'd bet that's all it is.
