Help on process of buffing out small scratches!

    Hi,

I have a new 236, white with a black stripe in the middle. As I pull up to the gas dock on our lake they must have something sharp on the edge of the padding because it has put two or three small scratches on the black stripe on my rear right side of my boat. This makes me sick.

Instead of taking it to the marina when this happens to detail the entire boat and buff it out, is there a process I can do on my own to fix this. I do not mind buying a buffer or what ever it takes to do it, I just want to do it right.

Can anyone give me step by step directions on how to fix including what and where to buy the items needed?

    Thanks a lot.

    Try th is website:
    http://properboatcare.com/

They have a great selection of product and have and gelcoat care items. I have a black SANTE and for some of the board marks and fine scratches I get on top of the swim platform on the rear of the boat, I use a colored carnuba wax called black velevet to get some of these type of scratches out. here is a link to this product.

    I hope that helps.
