The SOLUTION for White Marks on the Rub Rail.

Well boys and girls, through countless trial and error I found a simple way to remove the white marks left on the rub rails from the guide pads.

It is a combination of a magic eraser, and a bit of Fingernail polish remover.

Dampen the sponge with the remover, apply in a back and forth motion on the affected area, and wipe clean with a damp towel.

The easiest way to remove those pesky little marks. Let me know how it works for you.

Personally I use a fine wire brass brush or brass wool. Don't use steel wool or regular wire brushes as the particles they leave behind will rust.

I also heard that Magic Erasers work wonders to clean you vinyl. BE WARNED...I sell these things on the industrial level and I know how they work.

YES, they clean the **** out of vinyle seats. But Mgic Erasers abrade the surface of the viynl. They actual make the vinyl more porous (sp?) which causes the vinyl to resol easier. Every time you use Magic Erases on your vinyl...it basically tears it up on a serface level. Be carefull.
