leak from tracking fins?

Dose any body Know if a water leak can come in by tracking fins? Just noticed a hairline crack in # 2 fin. Still looking for leak!

It can but it has to come through the bolts that hold them on. A crack in the fin part itself shouldn't cause a leak More likely whatever cracked the fin also disrupted the 4200 Sealent that was used to bed the fin.
