    New Interior Skins

Hey I am fixing to pickup my 1992 Ski Nautique Bowrider that i just bought. It is good condition mechanically but the interior has seen better days, i have read somewhere else that you can buy a new set vinyl skins for $500-$600. Can anyone give me some anwsers?

    Thanks

Call South East Correct Craft (407) 851-1965. You can either buy the skins or the entire cushions. If you buy just the skins, you have to have them sewn onto the original cushions. I recently bought the entire cushions for the rear seats and the passengers seats of my '94 Sport. Turns out that, after you pay for the skins and have them sewn onto the cushions, it's about the same price as purchasing the entire cushions.

What did you pay for those seats? The PO for my boat got quoted nearly 600 bucks for the skins for the rear seat alone.

If memory serves, it was about $450 for the three buttom seat cushions. About $150 per cushion.

When I bought some new skins last year, the dealer said it was pretty much $200 per skin, no matter the size. I think skins for the entire boat would be at least $2k. New interior costs almost as much as a new engine.

I had a local upholstry shop do one part and it looks as good if not better than original. It was 80 bucks for the rear seat lower cushion. You may want to try out a local shop!

The skins are a bit pricy, but what is this about having them sewn onto the cushions??? Just grab a stapler and get started! Thats how they were attached in the first place.
Its easy! Our local upholstry shop wasn't much cheaper for the skins so I got the factory ones. Around 200$cdn from your dealer for each one. Like someone else said... Around 2000 for the whole boat.
