replaced my vent tube on my 211 and found out the blower and the fresh air go to the same side of the boat, while the other side has nothing going to it. So the way I see it, blow the fumes right to where the fresh air is being drawn from and suck them right back in to the motor comparment. my question is why would CC do this? And I hear it is that way in at least all 211. The vents on both sides of the boat have two holes for the hoses.
The return air is going down by the blower. the way I understand air is that the fresh air should not be next to the blower you want it to come for somewhere else so it draws air across the motor cleaning the air and sucking the bad air out. unless boats are different than a house and everything I have seen then this does not make sense. Any one have an explanation of why CC does this?
