    Removing decals

I like the dealer I bought my boat from but he put his decals on my boat. I don't like him that much. Any ideas on the best way to remove them?

    Any help would be great.

    RE: Removing decals

A real auto parts or auto paint supply store will have a decal/stripe removal wheel that you can put into a drill, they work very well, about $15.00. The wheel is like a gummy pencil erasor sort of. It will last you a long time.

You could also peel off by hand and use sticker off, a chemical avialble at walmart, in the boating section. The first is easier.

      RE: Removing decals

skip all that, just heat with a hair dryer and peel off with ur fingers. its not as messy and u'll have almost no residue left. if u do have some residue, just use some 3m adhesive remover and ur good to go. granted if we were talking about old pin stripes on a car, i would recommend the wheel, but vinyl graphics on a smooth gel coat peel off very easily

Great for the help. As soon as I get the things corrected that need correcting they will come off.
