    Help, Rust!

    Anybody have a good solution for removing rust from a 5 year old Prestige trailer?...and preventing it after it's removed?

    actually, after further inspection...

    after further inspection, there is rust throughout. Seems to be a bigger job than I anticipated. How long should a trailer last?

      Sounds like that trailer visited some salt water at least once. Sandblast it, see how far gone it is and proceed. Does the trailer have weep holes? I have a 12 yr old DHM trailer, other than 1 brake job and one replaced dry rotted step its almost new looking.
