Is it normal for PP (wakeboard pro) to hesitate slighly before fully engaging and taking over the speed? I have it set for 34 mph for slalom, give it a medium throttle out of the hole, but after PP beeps to take over there is a hesitation for maybe a second; it is not very long of a hesitation but long enough for the boat speed to actually drop slighly before PP takes over and gets up to speed. Otherwise everything works great after the hesitation. I am new to PP and just don't know if this is normal -- and it is on an 07 206. Is there anything that needs adjusting/fixing or is this okay? Or am I giving it too much out of the hole and it just takes time for PP to "catch up?"

RE: perfectpass hesitation
PerfectPass engages differently on my '07 than it did on the '06. I feel it is an improvement in the programming, not sure if it is due to the switch to the eControls ECM or an actual change in the PerfectPass chip. When it engages, it beeps and immediatly drops the rpm's, then after a second or so gently ads a few back. I feel that the boat gets to exact speed and settles in much earlier with this setup. It sounds like what you describe. The actual boat speed feels rock solid from the instant the beep happens now.2019 Ski Nautique 6.2 arriving soon
